We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team for the prestigious Duqm High-Rise Building Project in the Sultanate of Oman.
We are looking for a professional who possesses strong leadership skills, technical expertise, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale building projects. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Director and will be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Duqm High-Rise Building Project from planning through completion.
Develop detailed project execution plans, work schedules, and construction programmes.
Review and coordinate engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Monitor project progress, ensuring delivery within approved budget, quality standards, and project timelines.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans where necessary.
Oversee procurement activities, contract administration, and subcontractor performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Conduct regular site meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder coordination meetings.
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for senior management.
Manage project documentation, technical submissions, change orders, and contractual correspondence.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure successful project testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out.
Required Skills

Excellent planning, scheduling, and organisational abilities.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and project management principles.
Experience in cost control, budgeting, and commercial management.
Excellent risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple contractors and project disciplines simultaneously.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
A Master's Degree or professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, MRICS, CIOB, or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience managing large-scale building construction projects.
Proven experience delivering high-rise commercial, residential, mixed-use, or infrastructure developments.
Strong knowledge of international construction standards, FIDIC contracts, QA/QC procedures, and HSE regulations.
Previous experience in the GCC region is preferred.
